Education professionals face the challenging task of adequately supporting and promoting all their pupils’ strengths and weaknesses on a daily basis. At the same time, the heterogeneity of classrooms, the demand for integrative, individual support, cooperation with parents and the growing desire for online media mean that teaching resources and materials are required to be more sophisticated than ever before.
Calcularis – The ideal addition to the classroom for lasting learning progress
Calcularis supports teachers reliably in all of the requirements listed above. Pupils display lasting progress after a period of just four months and are able to effectively overcome their difficulties with numeracy, even in cases of dyscalculia. This progress is reflected in the form of a significant reduction in maths anxiety.
More than 600 schools are already deploying our learning systems successfully.
Depending on the intensity of use, Calcularis can serve as a dsycalculia resource or a supplementary training tool for all.
State-of-the-art learning software facilitates unparalleled learning progress.
The content and structure of training correspond to the pupils' current level of knowledge and to official teaching curricula.
The learning path is laid out in detail and documented using objective measures.
All progress is stored safely on our servers and can be viewed at any time using the Coach analysis tool .
Learning software that adapts to all learning situations and can be used as an integrative resource.
At school, at home, on a desktop computer or tablet: the training sessions are designed to be completed without adult supervision.
Work is carried out independently and guided and and adapted by the software.
Learning behaviour and mistakes are automatically analysed and the training adapted on the basis of the user's individual strengths and weaknesses.
Game-based maths training in manageable training sessions.
Learners are motivated by positive feedback from the computer-animated guide and by the interactive animal-themed reward system.
Educators can use Calcularis to digitally support learners with math difficulties with minimal effort of their own: After approximately 15 minutes of introduction, students can practice independently anywhere and anytime, either on their desktop computer or tablet – at school and/or at home. Educators can follow their progress and analyse potential difficulties with the Coach application. Coaching only takes 2 to 5 minutes per month, while the learners practice 4 to 5 hours.
During interaction with the learners, educators can hence focus on personal intervention or address difficulties observed with Coach. This allows educators to use their scarce resources more efficiently and gain multiples of their time, which in turn offers relief to everybody involved.
